PLANNING NOISE & VIBRATION ASSESSMENTS

We provide robust noise and vibration assessments to support planning applications for residential, education, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments throughout the UK. Our experience also includes plant noise assessments for building-services plant / industrial equipment and air-source heat pump istallations.

Working closely with architects, developers and planning consultants, we identify potential acoustic constraints at an early stage and develop practical, cost-effective mitigation measures to help secure planning approval.

Our assessments are prepared in accordance with current national planning policy and relevant British Standards and guidance, including BS 8233, BS 4142, BS 6472, the Professional Practice Guidance on Planning & Noise (ProPG), and other project-specific guidance where applicable.

Every report is tailored to the requirements of the Local Planning Authority, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations that balance planning objectives with high-quality acoustic design.
